The Good Companions is thrilled to share some fantastic news from our community partners!
Thanks in part to a letter of support from The Good Companions, our friends at the Ottawa New Edinburgh Club (ONEC) have received funding from Rowing Canada to launch the Community Sports for All: Rowing for Seniors initiative.
This exciting program will create new opportunities for older adults to stay active, connect with others, and experience the many physical and mental health benefits of rowing and it will be hosted in a welcoming and inclusive environment at ONEC.
We’re proud to support initiatives like this that align so closely with our mission of promoting health, well-being, and social connection for older adults in our community.
