“Did you brush your teeth?”
“YEP.”
** Spoiler alert: They did not. ** 😅 🪥
If your kid has suddenly turned into a mini lawyer with a flair for fiction, you’re not alone. Lying is super common—and nope, it doesn’t mean you’re raising a future con artist.
We’ve got a brand-new class that breaks down why kids lie, what it really means, and how to respond without losing your cool (or your credibility).
Think of it as your cheat sheet for raising honest, truth-telling humans.
Join us LIVE on May 2nd at 12 PM EDT for this powerful new class. Save your seat today! No lie—it’s worth it. 😉

Episode 5 of Circle Time with the AECEO is now available! 🎧 featuring special guests Lyndsay MacKay, Tonja Armstrong-Mcinnis, Tracy Saarikoski & Shelly Mehta.
On this episode, our Community Organizer Jess Tomas is joined by Collective leads and members to chat about the impact of being involved in advocacy and the importance of creating safe and supportive spaces like the CARE Collectives, where ECEs can show up as their whole selves.
What are CARE Collectives?
One of the ways educators can get involved with the work of the AECEO is by joining one of the AECEO CARE Collectives. AECEO CARE Collectives are community groups for people who want to engage in ECE/child care advocacy. In CARE Collective meetings, members of the ECE community share experiences, discuss current developments and issues impacting the early childhood sector, plan actions, engage in professional learning and other activities. AECEO CARE Collectives aim to be spaces where members of the ECE community can connect with their peers and care out loud together.

Affordable, high-quality child care available in every community is as Canadian as... using metric and imperial measuring units at the same time! 🇨🇦
The AECEO and the OCBCC, along with our partners and allies across Canada, are working towards building an early learning & child care system that supports children & families no matter where they live. A system that embodies classic Canadian values like respect, inclusion and multiculturalism.
🇨🇦 In order to become the early learning & child care system Canadians deserve, with affordable and accessible spaces, where children receive inclusive high quality education and care provided by professionals who are well compensated and have access to the supports that allow them to do this important work, the $10aDay program needs to be protected, strengthened, and expanded.
Join the AECEO and the OCBCC on social media as we come up with Canadian-isms as iconic as this life-changing program! Make your own at https://www.aeceo.ca/10aday_is_as_canadian_as
