Reconciliation was never meant to live in a single day. Here are a few ways to keep showing up, well beyond September 30th, especially within the city of Ottawa:

🧵Support Indigenous makers (like those hosted by Madahoki Farm )
🛍️Shop from Indigenous-owned place (such as Adaawewigamig in Byward Market)
🤝Give or volunteer with Indigenous-led organizations (like the Wabano Centre , Minwaashin Lodge: Indigenous Women’s Support Centre , and the Odawa Native Friendship CeOdawa Native Friendship Centrewa Public Library | BiOttawa Public Library | Bibliothèque publique d'Ottawato offer resources to grow your understanding)

Today and everyday is an opportunity to show up in ways that are meaningful to our Indigenous communities. We know our list is far from complete, so share your suggestions in the comments below.

We brought Wednesday (Addams) energy to our most recent Saturday Fabric Sale- but believe us when we say we were happy to welcome over 55 of you!🖤

With over 1000 pounds of new fabric donated, getting the boutique ready would not have been possible without our volunteer crew! Thank you to our pre-sale and Saturday team for getting us through the event.

And to all of community who shared our deals around and visited the store, we see you! It’s always a great time spending the morning with new and old faces alike.

To anyone who completes a sewing project, please send it our way. We’d love to inspire others to keep sewing!
