On May 11th, members of 33 Service Battalion had the opportunity to participate in flight operations with a CH‑147F Chinook. They also got a behind‑the‑scenes look at how RCAF Aerospace Control Officers keep aircraft and helicopters moving safely through the Canadian Air Navigation System — a great learning experience for everyone involved.

Ils ont également pu découvrir les coulisses du travail des officiers du contrôle aérospatial de l’ARC, qui assurent la sécurité des déplacements des avions et des hélicoptères au sein du Système canadien de navigation aérienne — une excellente expérience d’apprentissage pour tous les participants.

Employer Appreciation Night
On April 30th, 2026, 33 Service Battalion hosted an Employer Appreciation Night, welcoming employers from across Ottawa whose organizations support soldiers serving as part time reservists within the unit.
Throughout the evening, reservists showcased their military skills and capabilities, giving employers a firsthand look at the training, professionalism, and dedication they bring to both their civilian workplaces and the Canadian Armed Forces. The event strengthened understanding, teamwork, and cohesion between employers and the Battalion’s reservists.

Le 30 avril 2026, le 33e Bataillon des services a organisé une soirée d’appréciation des employeurs, accueillant des entreprises et organisations d’Ottawa qui soutiennent les militaires servant comme réservistes à temps partiel au sein de l’unité.
Tout au long de la soirée, les réservistes ont démontré leurs compétences et leurs capacités militaires, offrant à leurs employeurs un aperçu direct de la formation, du professionnalisme et du dévouement qu’ils apportent tant à leur milieu de travail civil qu’aux Forces armées canadiennes. L’événement a renforcé la compréhension, l’esprit d’équipe et la cohésion entre les employeurs et les réservistes du Bataillon.
