Ottawa camp introduces young women to firefighting Camp FFIT – Female Firefighters in Training – aims to introduce more women to firefighting, which has traditionally been a male dominated field.

Camp Alum, Marisa Tremblay came to our very first Camp in 2010 at 16 and just kept working hard towards her goal until she was hired as a fulltime Ottawa firefighter in 2019, and there’s no slowing her down!!
