Every month, you may see Centre 507 staff, volunteers, and participants walking through the neighborhood picking up garbage and helping keep our community clean.
At Centre 507, we know that strong communities are built through small actions repeated consistently. Whether it’s sharing a meal, checking in on a neighbor, or cleaning up a sidewalk, every effort matters.
A clean community is a happy community — and we are proud to do our part.

Tax clinic is CANCELLED TOMORROW (April 7th) due to staff and volunteer illness! We’ll hopefully be back next week - please follow along for any updates.
Centre 507 has been running free income taxes with CRA since 2016. Currently, the Centre has two volunteers helping with this clinic!
So far this year, Centre 507 staff and volunteers have filed 125 people this season and expect to surpass 200 by May. Staff continues to look up assessments and file throughout the year.

We are grateful for the warm welcome extended to Rob, our Coordinator of Drop-In and Culture, at a recent gathering with the Centretown United Church Women. Rob shared a presentation on the current realities facing Centre 507 and the community we serve, and it was meaningful to connect with members of the congregation in a spirit of compassion, dignity, and shared care.
We are especially thankful to the Centretown United Church Women for their generous $1,000 donation in support of Centre 507’s work. Your kindness helps ensure that individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty continue to find a safe, welcoming space and access to essential supports.
Thank you for standing with us and for being part of this shared commitment to care for our neighbours. 💙
