Today at the Chancery Building, Amb. Carolyne Kamende Daudi hosted Mr. Kim Musau, a Kenyan national and driving enthusiast who is undertaking a remarkable overland journey across the expansive Canadian landscape, travelling from Nova Scotia through Ottawa and onward to Vancouver.
The presence of a Kenyan-registered Land Rover — an iconic vehicle long associated with safari expeditions across the African savannah — on Canadian highways serves as a unique expression of national pride, identity, and cultural connection, attracting admiration and interest along the route.
Mr. Musau’s journey stands as a testament to the adventurous spirit, resilience, and global outlook of Kenyans, while also reflecting the growing people-to-people ties and warm relations between Kenya and Canada.
