The Leitrim crew spent the morning out in the east end training today — happy to support local businesses and feed that appetite.

To all,
In Loving Memory
Peter William Neville
1964 – 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Peter, on Thursday April 30, 2026 at the age of 62 years. Loving father of Patrick (Rosita), Stephanie, and Shannon. Dear grandfather of Rio and Clara. Pre-deceased by his father Norman, his mother Florence, and his brother Luke. He will be sadly missed by his wife Anne, his brothers Mark & Paul, his many nieces, nephews, close friends and extended family.
Peter will be remembered for his love of animals, the time he cherished with his family, his walks through the forest, his willingness to fix anything for anyone, and his proud service as a firefighter.
Family and friends are all invited to a Celebration of Life on Friday May 15th 2026 from 3pm until 7pm at Preston Event Center (formerly St. Anthony Banquet Hall) at 523 St. Anthony Street in Ottawa.
Memorial donations to CMHA (Canadian Mental Health Association) or Wounded Warriors Canada would be appreciated by the family.

Thanks Jerry Formoso and the staff at McDonald’s for allowing us to participate in McHappy day. Was great to see the good people of the The Ottawa Rotary Home enjoying their lunch and of course working alongside some fantastic colleagues from Service Paramedic Ottawa - a wonderful opportunity to work together with our community. It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of recently retired firefighter Peter Neville.
Pete and I worked together for over a decade prior to his retirement. A great friend- a hard working committed fireman that always had your back. You could always count on Pete at a fire - he was always able to fix anything that broke and keep our station running. His loss is very sad to the entire firefighter community.
Another great man gone too soon …

A little firefighter creativity - taking a regular Lazy Susan and making it a kitchen focal point. Gotta love station pride.
To all who we’re concerned about the large amount of smoke this afternoon:
