Just as a quick reminder, these are our donation guidelines here at the ! 🧡🧡

Every generous donation we receive that meets these guidelines directly supports our community. While we do our best to redistribute the food we can't use, following these guidelines ensures your donation goes towards feeding Ottawa’s pets.

You can drop off donations in person at our community pantry locations, or feel free to reach out to [email protected] to make other arrangements.

We’re looking for a volunteer driver to support us in the west end with our donation pick-ups and client deliveries! 🚗🐾 Access to a reliable vehicle is a must, and it’s a bonus if you could help out in other areas as needed.

Our volunteer drivers are huge champions of our cause, picking up donations and helping us get pet food in the hands of clients who can’t make it to one of our community pantry locations.

This role will focus on:
💜 Keeping track of inventory.
💜 Monitoring expiry dates.
💜 Coordinating with wildlife or pet rescues to redistribute food that can't be used.
💜 Ensuring our storage unit is well-maintained and organized.

What you bring:
💜 Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
💜 Able to work independently.
💜 Proficiency with Google Docs.
💜 Ideally, experience in a pet food environment, familiarity with logistics management, and access to a reliable vehicle.

We’re looking for an Events and Fundraising Manager to join our amazing team! In this role, you’ll help us raise essential funds through pop-up events and campaigns, allowing us to continue making a difference for pets in Ottawa.

This role will focus on:
💜 Leading, motivating, and onboarding our team of fundraising volunteers.
💜 Coordinating and serving as the first point of contact for all things outreach and events.
💜 Attending Outreach Committee and Leadership Team meetings.
💜 Collaborating with our team to produce event materials.

What you bring:
💜 Experience in fundraising and event planning.
💜 Strong communication and presentation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
💜 Enthusiasm about fundraising and the ability to inspire and lead a team.
💜 With ideally, a working knowledge of smartphones, Google Docs, and Canva.
