Q: I have a trapped a skunk in my yard. Will Parkland County provide assistance to relocate the animal?

A: Wildlife encounters are a common part of country living, and residents may occasionally need to manage nuisance animals on their property.

While Parkland County offers wildlife trap rentals, County staff do not remove or relocate wildlife under any circumstances, except for beavers located on County-maintained lands.

When you encounter farm machinery on the road, reduce your speed, keep a safe distance, and only pass when visibility is clear. Thank you for driving patiently and helping keep our farming communities safe.
