📣 Fishing Lake Métis Settlement Community Engagement

🏫 Exploring opportunities for Fishing Lake students to attend Grades 7–12 closer to home!

Northland School Division invites Fishing Lake Métis Settlement families and community members to an upcoming community engagement session.
One idea we're exploring is expanding Elizabeth School to provide regional Grades 7–12 programming for students from both Fishing Lake and Elizabeth Métis Settlements.

The concept could also offer hands-on trades education and learning opportunities that reflect Métis culture, traditions and land-based learning.

💬 We want to hear from you! Join us to learn more about this idea, ask questions and share your thoughts.

📅 Date: Wednesday, November 4, 2026
🕠 Time: 5:30–7:30 p.m.
📍 Location: The Communiplex – Fishing Lake
🍽️ A meal will be provided.
🎁 Attend for a chance to win a prize!
