Residents are welcome to join the Regular Council Meeting on Tuesday, October 26, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. Please be advised that you may listen to the meeting but will be unable to participate unless invited by the Mayor. Meeting packages and minutes are posted on the Town website. The Zoom meeting information is below.

*As per Bylaw No. 965-25, residents attending the Council meetings via Zoom will have to include their first and last names as their username to attend. Reminders will be given to anyone not in compliance, providing an opportunity to update their name. If the name is not updated, the attendee will be removed from the meeting.*

♻️ New transfer station hours. More time to drop off!

Starting November 1, all four regional transfer stations will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. year-round! That means one consistent schedule and longer hours through the winter.

📍 Coaldale & Picture Butte: Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday

📍 Iron Springs & Nobleford: Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Have garbage, yard waste, electronics, tires or other items to get rid of? Our transfer stations make it easy to dispose of waste properly.

✅ Residents of Lethbridge County, Picture Butte and Nobleford can use any of the four stations for free for most items. Other residents are welcome, but fees apply.

🚫 A friendly reminder: Illegal dumping and burning prohibited materials can result in fines. Help keep our roadsides, coulees and communities clean!

🍂 Final Grass Pickup of the Season! 🍂

A reminder to residents that the last grass pickup for 2026 will take place on Monday, October 26.

✅ Please have all grass clippings bagged and placed at the curb before collection begins.

Friday, October 23 🏒 Shinny Hockey: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Saturday, October 24 ⛸ Public Skate: 6:15 PM - 7:15 PM

Sunday, October 25 ⛸ Public Skate: 4:45 PM - 5:45 PM

💲 Fees:
• 6 & Under: Free
• Ages 7-17: $2
• Adults (18+): $3
• Family: $10
• Season passes available!

⚠️ Hockey sticks are not permitted during Public Skate. Shinny participants must wear a helmet and gloves.

🚛 Garbage Collection Reminder

Please ensure your garbage bins have at least 1.5 metres (5 feet) of clearance from parked vehicles and other obstacles.

Whether you're putting your bin out for collection or parking along the street, please be mindful of the space needed for our collection trucks to safely access bins.
