STATEMENT FROM THE HALDIMAND–NORFOLK PROGRESSIVE CONSERVATIVE ASSOCIATION
Democracy Is Stronger When Everyone Participates.
Recently, misleading information has been circulating on social media regarding our association and its involvement in the upcoming municipal elections. We feel it is important to address this directly and set the record straight.
As we approach the October 26 municipal elections, we want to make one thing absolutely clear:
The Haldimand–Norfolk Progressive Conservative Association has NOT endorsed or promoted any candidate in the 2026 municipal elections in either Haldimand County or Norfolk County.
Our association supports an open, fair, and respectful democratic process. We believe every individual has the right to participate, express their opinions, and support the candidates of their choosing without fear of ridicule, intimidation, or personal attacks.
Political differences should never stand in the way of respectful dialogue or community involvement. Democracy is strongest when people are informed, engaged, and encouraged to participate.
ONLINE VOTING & VOTER SECURITY
Online voting is underway in both counties. We remind residents to protect their voting information.
