🗣️Happy Staff Sunday! This Sunday, we are introducing our Senior Park Naturalist, Mitch! 🐍🍃

📆Years working at parks: 4
🌅Favourite place at MacGregor Point: Merganser Cove
🌎Favourite animal in the park and WHY: “Our 8 snake species! They’re under appreciated and need some extra love.”
🏕️Favourite memory with Ontario Parks: “During my first season with MacGregor Point, I was chatting with a pair of grandparents and their two grandkids. All of them were terrified of snakes, but by the time they left the Visitor Centre, they had held one of our Northern Watersnakes and the kids had a thousand questions about them!”

Next time you see Mitch at the Visitor Centre, be sure to say hi! 👋
