Twenty-five years after the tragic events of September 11, 2001, we honor the 2,977 innocent lives lost and the brave first responders who gave everything.

2,977 Innocent Lives: Civilians, service members, and first responders lost at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

412 First Responders: Brave heroic responders—including 343 firefighters, 60 police officers, and 8 paramedics—who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11.
Continuing Toll: Over 360 FDNY members and hundreds of other first responders have since passed away from 9/11-related cancers and illnesses caused by toxic exposure during rescue and recovery efforts.

Their courage, sacrifice, and memory will never be forgotten.

Definitely not the best way to celebrate World Ocean Day. At 19:15 we were dispatched to a chemical spill. Our crews determined it is a acetone type substance that has made it's way into the storm drain. For residents in the area of Catala and Campbell way there may be a chemical smell until it dissipates.

A reminder to all residents our storm drains make their way to the ocean please do no put any pollutants into them.
