Through ongoing partnerships with the RCMP and the Saulteaux First Nation, the Saskatchewan Marshals Service (SMS) assisted in addressing a recent community concern involving an individual who had unlawfully returned to a residence after being directed by the First Nation to leave the property.

After further investigation, members of the SMS confirmed the residence had been forcibly re-entered, and the individual was subsequently arrested and charged with break and enter and mischief.

This incident is another example of how working together to support our policing partners and First Nations communities helps build a safer and stronger Saskatchewan.
