On Saturday, Mary Schryer Mayor of Quispamsis offered greetings from Quispamsis at a Privilege and Anti-Racism training session at the qplex.

PRUDE Inc.’s ERA team, represented by Rachael Ahadzi, co-led the WE BELONG HERE event alongside Chief Inspector Anika Becker of the Kennebecasis Regional Police Force.

Organized by the Rothesay-Quispamsis Community Network and the Bangladeshi community as part of the Pathway to Belonging initiative, the session created space for meaningful conversations about racism, privilege, and bias.

It was my pleasure to assist in the kick off to the 2026 National Poppy Campaign.
Poppy chair Art Caravan presented me with the first poppy for Quispamsis.

Poppies are available at Sobeys , Superstore, Canadian Tire and Foodland.
The royal Canadian Legion is celebrating its hundredth anniversary and our local Legion branch 58 is celebrating their 50th birthday.
So please take time this year to purchase your puppy and wear it with pride .
