Government Ghost Stories tours take place tonight from 6 – 9 p.m. 👻

Take in the stories and experiences of previous and current staff as they walk through these historic halls. You never know, you may witness something while you are here as chess pieces move and the broken music box plays...

Come early to get your name on the tour sheet as it is on a first come, first served basis. A tour starts every 20 minutes with the last tour starts at 8:20 p.m. 🎃

Tricks & Treats takes place today! Starts at 1 pm.

Regina! Today is Tricks and Treats, our free, family-friendly Halloween event at Government House! 🎃

Will you join us? 👀

🗓️ Sunday, October 25
🕰️ 1 - 4 p.m.
✅ No fee or registration required.

🎩 Dress in your Halloween costumes (spooky or not!).
🍫 Trick or treat throughout the museum with many stops along the way (while supplies last).
📖 Listen to Halloween stories with Regina Public Library.
📸 Snap a photo with Reg the Bulldog from the Regina Pats, Sir Loin from Canadian Western Agribition and Munchie from Royal Saskatchewan Museum!
🪄 Experience a Halloween magic show (family friendly, no scares!) courtesy of Danny Kazam!

Showtimes for the magic show (first come, first served) are:

Ghost Story Tours tonight at Government House!

TONIGHT is the night! We are hosting the first evening of ghost story tours at Government House – are you joining us? 👻

🗓️ Friday, October 23 and 30
🕰️ 6-9 p.m.
✅ No fee or registration required. Just show up!

We are offering tours every 20 minutes on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 6 p.m. with the final tour of the night leaving at 8:20 p.m. Make sure to arrive early during the event, as tour spots for the evening tend to fill up quickly!

Tours will take approximately 40 minutes.

This event is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

We’ll see you there, if you dare.

Halloween fun is coming to Government House, and you won’t want to miss it!🎃

In just two weeks, our annual spooktacular Tricks & Treats is back, bringing an afternoon of magic, treats and Halloween fun for the whole family!👻
• Magic shows
• Trick or treating through the museum🍭
• Costumes, excitement and plenty of spooky fun!

Our Government House Historical Society volunteers will be there helping out, handing out candy, and making sure all goes well.

So, dust off those costumes, get the kids dressed up, and bring the whole family to Government House for a Halloween adventure!🦸🦸‍♀️

And here’s some more good news, it’s FREE! No admission fee, no registration and no fuss. Just show up ready to have fun!🥳

Long Weekend Plans? We Have An Idea! 🦃
Looking for something fun to do this Thanksgiving weekend? Come to Government House!

There’s much to see, and this weekend is your last chance to catch one of our most popular exhibits! In The Limelight: The Foundation of Theatre in Regina has been held over by popular demand but only until after the Thanksgiving weekend. If you haven’t seen this fascinating look at Regina’s theatre history and how Government House played a role, don’t miss your final opportunity.🎭

Then head upstairs to the QEII Art Gallery and discover Birds Of The Beach, presented by Camp Easter Seal – SaskAbilities. Thirteen Saskatchewan artists were each given the name of a local bird and asked to create a painting in their own unique style. The result? Bright, colourful, whimsical, and completely original art. It’s the kind of exhibit that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face! 🖼 🦉

And while you’re here…take a tour of the museum! Step back to 1905 and explore how Saskatchewan’s first Lieutenant Governor lived and worked in this magnificent historic building.🕰

If the weather is nice, take a walk around the Government House grounds and see the fall colours and even some flowers still blooming. 🍂
