The weather’s changing, but we’re keeping our Walking Club going!

Starting tomorrow, our Walking Club is moving indoors to the Revelstoke Recreation Centre.

Pregnancy and life with a baby can bring plenty of questions. Having people to share them with can make a difference.

Last month, over 25 families joined us at Bellies & Babies, a relaxed, welcoming space for expecting parents and those with babies under 12 months to share experiences and find support.

Whether you’re preparing for your baby’s arrival or settling into life together, there’s a place for you here. Come enjoy coffee and lunch and a chance to connect with others navigating this stage of parenting, every Tuesday 11am - 1pm.

There's always room for a good conversation at PACT.. and this November, we're starting something new!

We’re introducing Casual Conversations at Parents and Community Together (PACT) - an opportunity to chat with local professionals while enjoying the welcoming, relaxed atmosphere of playgroup.

On Monday, November 9, we’ll be joined by Madison McKinney, a registered physiotherapist with a passion for pelvic health. She’ll share how pelvic health physiotherapy can support you during pregnancy, postpartum and beyond, with space to ask questions and learn more about your health.

At Community Connections, PACT brings parents and caregivers together to connect and find support while their little ones play. Whether you’re a regular or joining us for the first time, come along for a snack and a conversation. We’d love to see you!

A big thank you to Red Apple Stores Revelstoke for hosting their Thanksgiving Food Drive and collecting over 510 lbs of food for the Food Bank!

We're so grateful to the Red Apple team and everyone who contributed. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we can continue keeping our shelves stocked and helping individuals and families in Revelstoke access the food they need.

Each week, our staff and volunteers collect surplus food from local businesses and sort it at the Food Bank. Food is shared with clients, while surplus ingredients find a second life in The Neighbourhood Kitchen.

Last month alone, the kitchen used over 600 lbs of recovered food to prepare nutritious meals for people in need, keeping good food from going to waste and helping it reach more neighbours.

Starting in 2027, important changes will make the Disability Tax Credit Application process more accessible for many Canadians. For certain long lasting conditions, the application is being streamlined. More healthcare professionals will be able to certify parts of the application.
