From shy to confident — that's the journey one of our English Language Training students, Sammy, shared with us. 🌟

Before joining our ELT program, she was afraid to speak English, worried about making mistakes. Today, she's making restaurant reservations, calling businesses, volunteering, and connecting with her community in English every day.

That's the real impact of practical, real-life learning paired with incredible teaching. We're so proud of her growth, and so grateful she shared her beautiful artwork with us too — artwork she created to show her gratitude for the program and the people who supported her. 💛

Here's to more confidence, more conversations, and more success stories like hers.

Today, we take time to reflect on the history and ongoing impacts of residential schools, and to honour Survivors, their families, and Indigenous communities.🧡

Truth and reconciliation is a shared responsibility. We encourage our community to take time to learn about the experiences of Indigenous Peoples, recognize the legacy of residential schools, and reflect on the role each of us can play in advancing reconciliation.

At RMCS, we remain committed to fostering a community built on respect, understanding, and inclusion.
