Dr. Jerry Haigh, wildlife vet and photographer, entertained us at his presentation at Rosthern Library on October 14.
His stories and photographs of adventures with animals in the Arctic, in Africa, and at the Saskatoon Zoo were very interesting and informative.
Dr. Haigh pointed out the books he has written of his experiences which are available through our library services.
Thank you to the SaskWriters Guild for making this presentation available to our library.

We, the staff at Rosthern Library, are saddened to hear of the death of an amazing librarian, Maureen. Her efforts made Waldheim Library a centre of activity for the community. The library catered to every age level and interest group. She made reading and books integral to the lives of many. She will surely be missed.

There’s a new Story Walk in downtown Rosthern!
Go for a walk on Main Street and read a story on the way. The story, “Summer Color”, begins at the library front door and proceeds to storefronts along the street. When you’ve completed the Walk, come on in to the library for an activity sheet.
