Another Staff Pick for you! Here's Amelia with her latest pick, Honeysuckle by Bar Fridman-Tell:
"The cover of this book pulled me in, and I was not disappointed! This book is an atmospheric fairy tale that gets darker and darker as it goes along. It's loosely based on the Welsh Myth of the Blodeuwedd, a woman made of flowers. A lonely child's sister makes him a Flower Girl, and they grow up together, but of course that gets complicated in early adulthood. At the heart of the story is the theme of autonomy, and what that looks like in an unbalanced power relationship. Beautifully written and haunting!"

Meetup Spotlight!💡
Meet the Memories in Wool Rug Hooking Club, aka the Happy Hookers! This wonderful group gathers at the library every Tuesday morning to work on their traditional rug hooking projects, share stories, swap tips, and enjoy each other’s company.
We love seeing the library used as a place for people to connect over shared interests and build community together. In the warmer months, the group heads outdoors to a local park, but during the cooler seasons, you’ll find them creating and connecting right here at STPL!

What is your idea of a perfect reading setting? Do you like a busy place like a coffeeshop, or prefer total solitude? Beverage or snack nearby? Other accessories you like to have on hand?
