HELP WANTED – Volunteers / Apprenticeships

As we head into a very busy spring season at Earth + Honeybee, we’re currently looking for some extra help.

Adam is taking a step back this season, so Melissa is leading the day-to-day operations, and with things ramping up quickly, an extra set of hands would go a long way in keeping everything running smoothly.

We’re opening this up as a volunteer / apprenticeship opportunity for anyone interested in getting hands-on experience with beekeeping and learning more about the day-to-day operations of working with bees.

This could be a great fit if you:

-Have some basic experience in beekeeping
-Want to learn about hive management, bees, and equipment
-Enjoy working outdoors and being part of something meaningful
-Are reliable and able to help during a busy spring season

This is a learning-focused opportunity, ideal for someone looking to gain real experience while supporting a local family-run beekeeping business.

We just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who responded to our vendor call for the new White Oaks Farmers Market! The response has been overwhelming and we’ve received a lot of amazing applications from local farmers, food producers, artisans, and food vendors. 🌽🍞🍯

Applications are still coming in until March 31st, and we’re excited to go through them all as we work toward building a great lineup for the market.

One of our goals with launching this market is to make it fair and accessible for vendors, especially in the first year. Because of the strong interest, we’re able to cost share and adjust pricing as more vendors apply and secure their seasonal spots, helping lower costs where possible and keep things fair for everyone involved.

We’re really excited about the momentum behind this new community market and can’t wait to bring together local farms, great food, and small businesses every Thursday.
