Organizing & sorting books for the first tailgate pop up, lots more to come, some donations just arrived! Can’t wait to give these away to bibliophiles, book nerds and readers of all ages. Some brand new books & some “like new” or gently used. ALL on a journey to their next reader 🙂

Meet your Tailgate Library book stewards. Dr. Melanie Goodchild, book nerd, and her partner Sly, qigong instructor and tea sommelier, are the dreamers behind the new mobile, pop up book exchange and free little library in Bawating (Sault Ste Marie). We are busily preparing for our first pop up in August. Where should we tailgate, when and what genres of books are you looking for? Graphics by Carrianne Agawa

A new bookshelf fits into the back of our RAV4 so we have lift off for the Tailgate Library. Hoping to have our first book exchange and Little Free Library pop up tailgate in August. We’ve been curating books for a month now and we are getting excited to give books away.
