This afternoon, I had the pleasure of meeting with Honourable Graham McGregor, Minister of Citizenship and Multiculturalism, and MPP Mohamed Firin at the Baitul Aman Mosque, where we engaged in a productive discussion regarding Premier Doug Ford's significant initiative to invest millions of dollars in addressing hate crimes and promoting equality of opportunity for marginalized communities across the province. I extend my gratitude to the minister, MPP, and the community for facilitating this important dialogue. This is another step towards a better future for our communities.

It is with profound sadness that I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones affected by the recent tragedy in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia.

This heartbreaking event has deeply touched all of us across the province and the nation. In moments like these, we stand united in grief, support, and solidarity with the community. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have lost loved ones and with everyone impacted by this devastating incident.

May the strength of the community, compassion of neighbors, and support from across the country bring comfort during this incredibly difficult time.

What a day at the ‘Greater Sylhet Badminton Championship organized by Barlekha Sports Club Toronto (BSCT)!
Amazing rallies, fierce competition, and most importantly—incredible spirit.

The best part?- seeing players push each other to be better, offer a word of encouragement after a tough point, and celebrate team success over individual glory. That’s the unity that sport creates.

A selfish play might win a point, but a selfless team wins everything else. Grateful to see this team spirit!!
