I came for the dinner of the Veterans UN-NATO Canada an outstanding veterans group, and ended up bringing in "Journey". The Sound of Remembrance guitar to show the World War 2 veteran when the cousin of Richard Green told me who she was. It was dinner with some very exceptional people and photos to prove it. Love you all.

"Journey" the Sound of Remembrance guitar is headed to the open mic night tomorrow from 5:30 - 8:30 pm. Tyrone David will be playing the guitar, he is an Afghanistan veteran, who will play Highway of Heroes. We are staying at the Inn and will leave from there to the NL ferry. Love you all.

The last time i was in Newfoundland was with "Journey" and we are finally on our way back baby!!!! Travis, from Musgrave Harbour, played the guitar for us and hoping to get him to play again. I do have one more of his videos in my tickle trunk. We've booked our ferry both day crossings in order to get a cabin. We sail Sunday, 25 Oct at noon ,straight to Michael Joseph Brake, via Tom Anderson if he aint in the hills hunting, and return 1 Nov at noon. Return trip will take us to Cape Breton for a day or two. So happy to finally make it back. Love you all.

Saturday night after the gala when everyone went downstairs to do an open mic i brought out "Journey" the Sound of Remembrance guitar. We were at the back and Uncle Julian Austin was watching Spark. After we had sat with the guitar for a bit, i set up my live to watch the New Brunswick Country Music Hall of Fame musicians playing an open mic. While they were playing my 3 PPCLI Reunion BBQ chat group started sending messages with mass casualties and mentioning injured. Most of us are all out but everyone was coming together like the old days and passing on any info. This all reminded me of the friendly fire incident and took me back in time to that. 3 PPCLI suffered 4 killed, Marc, Ainsworth, Richard, Nathan and 8 injured, my friend Lorne being one of the wounded. I ended up driving Lorne to all his medical appts, taking his mom to visit Lorne at the hospital. I went to the Board of Inquiry with him and at the time i was delivering papers to make extra money and i would drop the paper off to Lorne each morning, sometimes he was sleeping and i would drop it off and leave. Jenn, messaged me on Sunday telling me that it brought her back there and to thank me for everything i did for their family. My Life For You, Airborne. That sums it up always. Now, 24 years later, my friend Lorne was visiting the injured soldiers from Wainwright, and just reported it was bad. Please give blood and please pray for our injured soldiers. We love you all.
