🧥 Our Littlest Ones Need Your Help! 💙

We’re reaching out to our wonderful community for help! VOCM Cares Coats for Kids is in need of winter wear for babies and young children, from newborn up to and including size 5T.

At this time, we have a good supply of adult-sized winter wear, so we’re asking for your help in filling the gap in our smallest sizes!

If you have new or gently used winter coats, snowsuits, boots, hats, mittens or other winter essentials in newborn to 5T sizes, we would be so grateful for your donation. ❄️

Smaller size donations can be dropped off at our pop-up shop located at the Village Shopping Centre (at the bottom of the escalators between Charm and Jellybean Entertainment) between the hours of 9:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm on Thursday, October 22nd and between 9:00am - 12:00pm Friday, October 23rd.

🎉 Celebrating 90 Years of VOCM ❤️

Over the past nine months, we’ve celebrated 90 years of VOCM while also shining a spotlight on the generosity of our community through the VOCM Cares Staff Giving Initiative!

As part of this initiative, VOCM Cares invited Stingray employees to choose a different organization each month to receive a donation from VOCM Cares. It’s a wonderful way to recognize the causes that matter to our team while supporting organizations making a difference in our communities.

We’re proud to look back on nine months of celebrations, meaningful connections, and community support. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this special year! ❤️

Here’s to 90 years of VOCM and continuing to make a difference together!

A big thank you to Hazelwood Elementary for inviting VOCM Cares, Metrobus and the Community Food Sharing Association to attend your fall assembly and speak with your students and staff last week!

It was wonderful to have the opportunity to personally thank the students for their generous donations to this year’s Thanksgiving Food Drive and share how their contributions are helping families in need across our province.

It's wonderful meeting so many of you with your donations for the Coats for Kids program! Thank you so much to Nevaeh, Joey and Carter for dropping by with their donations this afternoon!

We're at the Village Shopping Centre this afternoon until 4:00pm, and back again tomorrow from 11:00am - 2:00pm. We're located at the bottom of the 'up' escalator between Charm and Jellybean Entertainment. Please note that we're accepting winter wear for all ages (we're all really kids at heart!)🫶.
