Are you a filmmaker developing your first, second or third feature film?🎥

We're supporting two NL-based feature film projects for JETS (Junior Entertainment Talent Slate). This initiative will connect filmmakers with industry professionals during the Berlinale in February, 2027.

Eligible applicants: Producer/director teams from Canada, Ireland, Germany, Norway and the UK, with up to 15 years of industry experience. Producers may have up to 20 years if they have produced no more than two feature films.

Eligible projects: Fiction feature films, including animation, in development or financing. Completed films will not be accepted.

Budget: €300,000 to €5 million for co-production projects, or up to €8 million for animation. First feature projects should preferably not exceed €1.2 million.

📆Deadline: December 7, 2026

Selected projects will have the opportunity to pitch to industry professionals and explore co-production opportunities.

Looking back at our time at TIFF, we’d be remiss if we didn’t spotlight Atlantic Market Day. Hosted alongside our Atlantic counterparts: Screen Nova Scotia , PEI Creates and Government of New Brunswick, the day brought together industry professionals to celebrate the region’s screen industry.

The day brought together industry leaders and professionals for conversations on co-production, the unique strengths of each Atlantic province, working with Netflix, and how producers can build relationships with streamers and studios while scaling their work to a larger stage.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a day of conversations, connections and collaboration across Atlantic Canada.
