This Morning at approximatley 10:30, we were dispatched for a single vehicle rollover with possible entrapment near loon lake. The vehicle left the road way, over the bridge and ended up down in the valley. Four members responded and were stood down enroute as our service was not required. Thank you to the members that were able to respond!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made this evening a success.

We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support our community shows us year after year. It’s nights like these that remind us just how lucky we are to call this community home. Thank you for coming out, visiting, and helping us celebrate another great year!

Last week we were fortunate enough to take part in the PARTY program for the highschool students in town along with our fellow emergency and life care services. Although this was a Mock incident, it was very well organized and handled from the first meeting right through the ex*****on day for the whole event. We hope the program will stick and help the students make the right decisions along the way.
It couldnt have been done without great collaboration between Sask Health’s addiction counselling, the school staff, Westmed Paramedics, RCMP, Generation’s funeral Home, the actors, the makeup crew, the school staff, our retired Coroner Jim, the health complex and staff, Lyle for crushing and moving the vehicles for the scene, the vehicle donations for the scene and anyone that had a hand in making the wheels turn for this great program! Last but not least, our firefighters that took time off work/commitments to be available for the scenario… thank you!!

Happy to be knocking back the fire ban a level so everyone can hopefully enjoy a campfire this long weekend, or as it looks more so to need the campfire to survive the cold on the long weekend…

Happy Friday of May Long Weekend 2026.

Upon the recommendation of the local Fire Chiefs, the RM is transitioning to a Partial Fire Ban, effective May 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
