If your children have outgrown their old costumes, SES is collecting gently used costume donations! We want to make sure every student in our school community has a fun costume to celebrate with this year.

We are specifically looking for costumes that fit children ages 8 to 11.

What we’re accepting:

Complete or partial costumes (gently used, clean, and in good condition)

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Stephenville Elementary is partnering with the Bay St. George Folk Arts Council again this year to offer introductory Bodhran classes to 15 of our students (the bodhran - pronounced bow-rawn - is a traditional Irish frame drum, ranging from 10 to 26 inches in diameter, that serves as the rhythmic heartbeat of Celtic music. We will supply the students with their instruments). Selected students will play with the Folk Arts volunteers on Wednesdays at lunch time in the LLC. They will take their bodhrans home to practice throughout the week.

If your child is interested, please respond to this email or send a message to the school by Friday, October 16. If your child was a part of the bodhran group last year and would like to continue, please let us know.

**If your child is selected you will be contacted.
