Hero's Among Us

Yesterday, at the Middlesex-London Paramedic Services Survivors Day event, local resident Andrea Denning was recognized with a Bystander Award for her quick thinking and life-saving actions!

In an incredible turn of events, Andrea had completed a CPR training course just 24 hours before finding herself in a situation where those very skills were needed to help save someone's life.

The Township of Adelaide Metcalfe would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to Andrea for her courage, quick response, and willingness to step in when someone needed help most.

Thank you, Andrea, for reminding us that heroes truly do live among us!

Andrea's story is also a powerful reminder of the importance of CPR training. You never know when you might have the opportunity to save a life.
