Kettle Valley Steam Railway Make today a trip into yesterday with a ride on the only preserved section of the historic Kettle Valley Railway line built during 1910 - 1915.

Originally 325 miles (523 Kms) long the KVR is said to be one of the most difficult railways ever built. You'll enjoy a 90 minute nostalgic journey through the rural beauty of Summerland and onto the Trout Creek Bridge with spectacular views of Okanagan Lake and the canyon below. Our majestic 113 year old locomotive "the 3716" thrills young and old alike as it steams along the track. Live music, historical commentary and an observation game for the kids completes your unique railway adventure. Be sure to book your trip today.

It was our small way of saying thank you for everything they’ve done to support and protect our community. 🚒❤️

We’re incredibly grateful to all of the firefighters, crews, and everyone who worked tirelessly throughout the fire. Your dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed.

Thank you for everything you’ve done! ❤️

Guests with Great Train Robbery bookings will automatically receive a refund. Please allow 2–3 business days for the refund to be processed.

If you’d like to join us for a Scenic Train Tour, tickets and dates are available at www.kettlevalleyrail.org.

As we continue to navigate the impacts of the recent wildfires, we wanted to provide a quick update.

Operations will remain suspended for the remainder of August. We are hopeful to resume train operations in September and will continue to share updates as we assess conditions and determine next steps.

We’re happy to report that our train has safely returned home to the station🚂♥️

We were recently able to access the station under a temporary access permit and see the train and facilities firsthand. We’re very pleased to confirm that the fires did not reach our station, and everything appears to be safe.

Operations will remain cancelled through the end of August, at which point we will reevaluate the situation and determine next steps. We’ll continue to keep everyone updated as we assess conditions and plan for the future.

We’re incredibly grateful to the fire crews, first responders, emergency personnel, and support teams working tirelessly to protect our communities. Their dedication, courage, and countless hours during this difficult time do not go unnoticed.

Thank you to everyone for your patience, support, and understanding ❤️
