Do you want to volunteer with WCSS? Do you love food and community? Our team is hiring casual, volunteer, Food Recovery Support Workers!

Assist our Food Security team with their food recovery pickups! Ride along and collect food from local stores, resturants, and businesses to be distributed at the Whistler Food Bank!

Available shifts:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
10am - 12pm

We are currently accepting Holiday Helper applications! Eligible families will receive a $100 gift card of their choice towards a gift purchase for each child 18 and under. They will also receive a $50 grocery store of choice for each family member.

How do I qualify for the Holiday Helper program?

1. All families need to make a 15 minute appointment with an Outreach worker to apply
2. All families must meet the financial eligibility criteria
3. Families applying for our WCSS Holiday Helper program must live in Whistler (Whistler home address)
4. Children must be 18 or under as of 25th of December 2025 to be eligible for the program.
