If we had to describe NightShift in one sentence, it would be: A place of belonging, through vital services and human connection.
Here, people in need receive holistic care in a setting where they are seen, heard, known and welcomed.
NightShift's volunteers, peer volunteers, donors and professionals come together to share unconditional love and find hope and purpose serving and connecting with others.
If you’re new here, don’t just read about the NightShift neighbourhood. Come and experience it for yourself!

A hot meal. A conversation. A hug. Practical help. A moment where someone feels seen again.
For more than 20 years at NightShift, we’ve watched volunteers show up to serve and leave changed in ways they didn’t expect.
Because it turns out the people you come to help often help you just as much.
You walk away with a different perspective.
A deeper sense of purpose.
And a reminder of what really matters.
We’d love for you to experience the heart of the NightShift neighbourhood. Join us. ❤️

Last month, we felt an incredible wave of support from our community and one moment stood out.
When Val, president of the North Surrey Lions Club, walked through our doors, she didn’t just bring a donation. She brought years of friendship and support for NightShift.
Real change happens when a community comes together.
As she says, “It’s every citizen’s responsibility to give back and be part of transforming lives.”
Thanks to the North Surrey Lions Club, that impact continues every day.
