Sandpiper Housing Co-op is a friendly and diverse community of members which include families, single persons and seniors located in Surrey, BC.
Co-operative living means a family oriented neighborhood, which promotes the growth of all members’ young and old. The people who live in the Co-op are its members. Since re-opening to applications a few weeks ago, we have received an overwhelming number of amazing applications. As such, we have made the difficult decision to close applications again for the time being.
We are aware of the dire housing situation in our province and the demand for Co-operative units and we thank all our recent applicants for their patience waiting for us to open our applications again.
At this time, we believe we have a sufficient number of excellent applications to sustain our waitlist until we have future vacancies.
We encourage anyone interested in Sandpiper Co-op to continue to monitor our FB page and our website for updates when we are ready to accept more applications.

YAY! We cut the ribbon (literally!) on our new playground extension last week and it's a hit! A huge thank you to all the many members who worked so hard to make this a reality. The Sandpiper kids and parents love it!
Our Annual General Membership meeting took place last week and 3 new members were elected to our Board of Directors! We would like to welcome and thanks these new directors for all the great work they will do in the coming term.
We are also happy to announce that a new Safety Committee has been created at Sandpiper. This exciting new committee will be responsible for emergency preparedness and security issues so that all members of our co-op community will be safe and secure. This is co-op living!
