You probably didn't know this but accidents working with grain pose life-threatening risks to farm workers and first-responders. Last weekend, firefighters at Station 2 were given training on what to do when responding during a grain rescue mission—this could be grain bins, trucks, or overturned vehicles. Thank you to master trainer Tim MacRae from the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA), Simard Bros for supplying the bins, and Corteva for sponsoring new equipment for our members.

table. Do not charge devices in overhead compartments and never
charge e-cigarettes or vapes on a plane. If a battery overheats or fails,
it is important for the flight crew to be able to respond quickly.

warm to the touch, makes popping noises, changes in shape or
color, or if you see smoke. If it is safe, move the device away
from anything that can catch fire. A damaged battery can
overheat and start a fire.
