We are so proud of Avni as she represents Superior CVI at OFSAA Tennis. While the Quarter Final result wasn't the one she hoped for, her tournament is not over. Avni now moves on to compete in the Consolation Finals! 🎾🦅

🎸✨ Our Gryphons had an incredible musical experience on Friday! 💙🤍🖤
Students in Mrs. De Leon’s Grade 10-12 Guitar Class attended a performance in the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra’s Northern Lights Series, featuring flamenco guitarist Matt Sellick. Students witnessed a truly special moment as Watching the Sky was performed LIVE with the orchestra for the very first time in front of an audience! 🎶🌟
Following the concert, students had the opportunity to ask questions and learn from both Matt Sellick and conductor Jeff Christmas, gaining valuable insight into professional music-making.
At Superior CVI, our guitar students build strong foundations in music theory, classical guitar technique, chords, and tablature while exploring the many possibilities music can offer beyond the classroom. Experiences like this help inspire the next generation of musicians! 🎵🎸

🏐💙🤍🖤 What a weekend for our Junior Boys Volleyball Gryphons!
The JBVB team earned an impressive 3rd-place finish out of 13 teams at the highly competitive St. Pats Tournament! Both Gryphon teams demonstrated incredible determination, composure, and teamwork over two days of competition. After finishing 1st in their round robin pool, the team battled hard all weekend and represented our school with pride.
Congratulations to all of our athletes and coaches on a fantastic tournament performance! 👏🏐
The Gryphons wrap up their regular season on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at St. Ignatius. Let’s wish them the best as they continue their strong season! 💙🤍🖤
