🌟💙 As We Close Another Incredible School Year… Thank You! 💙🌟
As another amazing school year comes to an end at Tisdale Elementary School, our hearts are filled with gratitude.
To our incredible staff—thank you. Every day you bring your passion, dedication, kindness, and unwavering commitment to supporting our students. You give so much of yourselves, often behind the scenes, creating classrooms where children feel safe, valued, encouraged, and inspired to learn. Your hard work, care, and countless hours do not go unnoticed, and we are so thankful for each and every one of you.
Throughout the year, we were also fortunate to have many substitute teachers step in whenever needed. Your flexibility, care, and willingness to support our students and staff ensured learning continued seamlessly. Whether you were with us for a day, a week, or longer, you became an important part of our school community. Thank you for answering the call whenever you were needed.
Throughout the year, we also had some staff members leave our TES family, and we want to take a moment to acknowledge and thank them for the time they shared with us. Every person who has been part of our school community has helped shape the experiences of our students and contributed to making Tisdale Elementary School such a special place. We extend our sincere thanks to Mrs. Pylepenko, Ms. Casavant, Miss Taleah, Marielle, Nigel, and our interns, Mr. Clifford and Mr. Armstrong. Thank you for your care, dedication, enthusiasm, and the positive impact you made during your time with us. We wish each of you nothing but success and happiness as you continue on your own journeys.
Over these last few months, we have also been fortunate to welcome Miss Kovacs, Miss Nicholls, and Miss Plamondon to our team. Thank you for stepping in with kindness, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Although your time with us was brief, you quickly became valued members of our school community. We are grateful for everything you did for our students and staff and wish you all the very best in your future endeavors.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to our division staff. Although many may not have been in our building every day, your support, expertise, and dedication strengthened our school in countless ways. Whether working directly with students, supporting staff, or helping behind the scenes, your contributions have been invaluable. Thank you for always being there when we needed you.
Our gratitude extends far beyond the walls of our school. We are incredibly fortunate to be part of such a caring and supportive community. To our families, thank you for entrusting us with your children each day and for partnering with us in their learning. Your encouragement, involvement, patience, and support make an incredible difference. The strong relationship between home and school helps every child grow, succeed, and feel a true sense of belonging.
To our community members, volunteers, local businesses, organizations, SCC and supporters—thank you for continually investing in Tisdale Elementary School. Whether through volunteering your time, supporting school events, sharing resources, sponsoring opportunities, or simply cheering on our students, your generosity enriches learning in so many ways. We are deeply grateful to be part of a community that believes in our students and continually shows up to help them succeed. It truly takes a village, and we are blessed to have such an amazing one.
As we close this chapter, we also find ourselves saying goodbye to several treasured members of our TES family. While goodbyes are never easy, we are excited for the new adventures that await each of you.
With heartfelt appreciation, we thank Mrs. Teale, Mrs. Thiessen, Mrs. Dzurka, Mrs. Mason, Mrs. Larson-Weinert, Mrs. MacDonald ( for a little bit ) and Mrs. Norum. Each of you has left a lasting mark on Tisdale Elementary School through your kindness, leadership, compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to children. You have touched countless lives, built meaningful relationships, inspired both students and colleagues, and helped create memories that will last a lifetime. Your contributions have helped shape the heart of our school, and your legacy will continue to be felt for years to come. While you will certainly be missed, we wish each of you every happiness, good health, and success as you begin this exciting new chapter. Thank you for everything you have given to our TES family.
It has truly been an incredible year. Every staff member, student, family, volunteer, substitute teacher, division staff member, SCC and community supporter has played an important role in making Tisdale Elementary School the special place it is. Together we have celebrated successes, overcome challenges, built friendships, created lasting memories, and most importantly, helped our students learn, grow, and thrive. We couldn't be more proud of what we have accomplished together.
📚 A few reminders as we head into summer:
• School Supply Drop Off and BBQ onMonday September 1 at 3:30-5:30. School resumes on Tuesday, September 2, with a staggered start for Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Grade 1 students. Families will receive those details shortly. School Photos are September 7th and 8th.
• Report cards will be available on Tuesday, June 30. For students entering Kindergarten through Grade 5, your child's teacher for next year will be listed in the Attendance Notes section.
• Students moving on to TMSS will receive their class placement information during orientation, with details to be communicated directly by the school.
As summer begins, we hope every family has the opportunity to relax, recharge, spend time together, make wonderful memories, and enjoy all that the season has to offer.
Thank you for another unforgettable year at Tisdale Elementary School. We wish everyone a safe, happy, and healthy summer, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in September!
