Starting at Brockley Dr and Lawrence Ave we’ll visit a series of beloved local spots that reflect the area’s Bangladeshi, Caribbean and Tamil communities as well as others. Join us in the Wexford community for our annual neighbourhood clean-up as part of Earth Week and the Clean Toronto Together campaign!

Scarborough Zero Waste along with the Wexford Heights Business Improvement Area, is hosting a spring clean-up—and we’d love to see you there!

Event Details:
🗓 When: Saturday, April 25th | 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
(rain or shine!)
📍 Where: Along Lawrence Avenue (Victoria Park to Birchmount)
📍 Meeting Point: 2121 Lawrence Ave East
(beside Swiss Chalet, parking at Food Basics plaza)

🧹 What to expect:
• Litter clean-up & neighbourhood beautification
• Volunteers will be assigned areas along Lawrence Gigliotti• A great chance to meet neighbours and get kids involved in giving back

👮‍♂️ Members of Toronto Police Division 41 and local government officials will also be stopping by to support the event

Let’s come together to make Wexford cleaner and greener 💚

The Province's purchase of a private jet received a lot of backlash due to the misuse of taxpayer money, but there is also the environmental impacts that cannot be forgotten. Private jets alone, used by the few, consume so much fuel that they contribute 4% of climate change.

At a time when Scarborough residents are trying to be environmentally and financially conscious, the same should be expected of the government.
