Thank you to everyone in Guelph who put their trust in me once again. I'm ready now more than ever to fight for our community.
In 2023 we made history by electing the second Green to the Ontario legislature and tonight we did it again.
Aislinn, from the day you decided to run you brought new energy to the Ontario Greens and Ontario politics. Together we'll continue to hold Doug Ford's feet to the fire at Queen’s Park.
Thank you to my deputy leaders Aislinn Clancy and Matt Richter.
I know that tonight, the results didn’t quite show it, but if there was ever a local champion worthy of being an MPP, Matt Richter is it.

Ford abuses his power and with it our healthcare and democracy. Minden is just one example. We must elect people who agree to curb the power of governments to game elections. The rules were not written with completely unscrupulous parties like today’s PCs in mind.

Bill 60, Your Health Act, has hyper secrecy and opportunity for thievery built right into the legislation. In years to come we predict we will have criminal trials based on it. Tell everyone you know about it. We need to be aware.
