During March break we had three of our Rangers participate in the Storm The Giant Winter Regional Expedition in Thunder Bay - MWO Kuzmann, Ronnie and MWO Jiang, Aidan as participants and CWO Kuzmann, Harriette as an ATL. We also had Lt Humby on staff and had two fellow Rangers from 2799 on Team 3!
Together, we pushed through brutal conditions, facing temperatures as low as -30°C with the windchill, and took on every phase of a winter expedition. We cycled over 65 km, skied more than 35 km, and snowshoed over 20 km to a steep summit all while hauling a fully loaded toboggan, hot tent sled, and heavy rucksacks every step of the way.
Being three of the 30 cadets chosen across all of Ontario for participation in this expedition highlights the calibre of our cadets.
Rangers Lead The Way 💪🏼
