On Monday evening the senior cadets of 337 QYRang along with the seniors from other local Corps and Squadrons had a fantastic educational opportunity. The cadets were invited for an evening at the Royal Canadian Military Institute (RCMI) for an evening of military history and a tour hosted by retired LCol Clarry.

The cadets learned a lot and had an excellent time. Thank you so much to LCol Clarry and the staff and members at the RCMI for a fantastic night.

Two of our cadets proudly represented our unit by volunteering to assist with the Cadets Canada booth at the CNE this year and got the opportunity to meet the Lieutenant Governor or Ontario, Edith Dumont.

Our cadets, through their experience in the cadet program, shared what cadets is all about and connected with members of our community. From answering questions to showing off their cadet spirit, they were great ambassadors for the program.

We’re proud to see our cadets stepping up, representing with confidence, and making a difference beyond the parade square.

Great job WO Ishmail, Cassidy and WO Ishmail, Cainan

Last night was our first night back and our cadets got to hear a bit about expectations and training for the year and get through our annual administrative tasks.

MWO Jiang also said his farewell to the unit as he embarks on his new journey as an NCM with our affiliated reserves unit, thus ending his cadet career and embarking on a new journey but remaining a Ranger 💪🏼 Great job, everyone.

After 6 weeks in the Yukon Sgt Kuzmann.G made it home safely. She made great friends on course and at Staff, she learned a lot and even got to see the Aurora Borealis. Attached are a few photos from her time on Staff.

With a 2 day turn around, she was off again on her Regional Expedition. Photos of her, Sgt Zhang, A and MWO Jiang who is a staff cadet on the expedition to follow once they return home.

A big thank you to all of the Rangers who participated in the Warriors Day parade.

How lucky are we as members of 337 Queen’s York Rangers Army Cadet Corps to be a part of such an incredible program. This new School of Trades and Technology course is just another example of what amazing opportunities are out there for our staff and youth.

Congratulations again to Sgt Kuzmann.G for being 1 of 19 youth selected from across Canada for this incredible opportunity.
