The Amsterdam Bridge is officially open again! 🌉

In partnership with CreateTO and Harbourfront Centre, we have completed the restoration of this waterfront connection.

The bridge once again links visitors to Harbourfront Centre’s performances, galleries, festivals, public art, and gathering spaces.

Fun fact: The bridge was gifted to the City of Toronto by the Mayor of Amsterdam to mark the 1974 recognition of Toronto and Amsterdam as twin cities. 🤝

Come see Jordan Shaw’s temporary public artworks at Budapest Park 👀

Nestled between the Martin Goodman Trail and the Sunnyside Boardwalk, the four sculptures create a series of shadows that change throughout the day. The sculptures will be installed until October 15, 2026.

Jordan Shaw is a Toronto-based artist and creative technologist whose practice explores data as material, he works across sculpture, installation, light and textile. His public artworks have been installed in municipalities across Canada.

Take a look at the new public artwork set to be featured at the Etobicoke Civic Centre, a new civic hub and mixed-use building coming to the Etobicoke area. 👀

Taking inspiration from the reconfiguration of the former Six Points Interchange, otherwise known as the “Spaghetti Junction”, Jordan Sook will display their artwork: love is the space between us & infinity.

The 4,000-pound art piece is set to be installed in 2028 and will feature a red rollercoaster sculpture suspended in the main atrium.

Join us on May 31 at Cedar Ridge to celebrate the opening of Women & Flowers: Transplanted 🖼️

Gathering multiple histories, geographies and cultural lineages within a shared space, these five immigrant women artists reflect The World in a City – where distant homelands, memories and identities coexist and take root.

Each artist has experienced displacement and, through their work, connect lived realities with resilience of flowers.

By placing women’s stories alongside flowers as independent yet interwoven beings, this project shows cycles of rupture and renewal, resilience and rebirth.

Featuring works by Arshin Agashteh, Maryam (Sora) Kheiry, Ebru Winegrad, Golbahar H and Gizem Candan. Curated by Leila Refahi.

This exhibition is on until June 20.
