Mental health professionals and aspiring psychotherapists (CLB 7+): gain confidence speaking English in therapeutic settings. Join our English for Psychotherapy class, a warm, practice-focused program designed to help you thrive in Ontario’s mental health field.
Online Classes
June 1 – August 17, 2026
Mondays, 7:00–8:30 PM
What to expect:
• 1.5 hours/week for 12 weeks (18 hours total)
• Small groups (6–12 participants) for personalized attention
• Focused practice in English accuracy, fluency & pronunciation for psychotherapy
• Real-world scenarios, role-plays & constructive feedback in a safe environment
Your Instructor: Brenda Kaya
With 25+ years teaching English to adults, Brenda teaches Professional Communication for Psychotherapists in the BREM program. She understands the language and cultural nuances needed for effective counselling in Ontario.
Who can join?
This class is open to current BREM students, past graduates, and mental health professionals already working in the mental health field who want stronger English for counselling practice. You’ll make meaningful progress in a supportive community of peers who share your goals.
You must have a minimum language score of CLB 7.
No tests. No grades. Just practice, feedback, and growth in your professional voice.
