Albrecht Dürer was born on 21 May 1471 in Nürnberg:
Did he speak any Hungarian? His father was a nobleman in Hungary, he was called "Ajtósi" - the name "Dürer/Türer is a direct translation of this. He moved to Nürnberg from Ajtós, from the area of Gyula, the Kingdom of Hungary.
