All crimes of a s*xual nature, regardless of the victim’s gender or age, impacts the community and effects the victim’s quality of life and wellbeing.

The Toronto Police Service S*x Crimes unit was originally created in 1989 to investigate serious and serial s*xual offences that were beyond the resources and/or expertise of divisional units. Since that time, the unit has expanded and now incorporates specialized units that are dedicated to the sensitive needs of victims. The Toronto Police Service is dedicated to the wellbeing, care and recovery
