Meet Fran, a long-time Toronto tenant.
When she lost access to cold water and a working shower in her unit due to construction, she faced numerous hurdles in getting her landlord to address the issue.
She finally contacted RentSafeTO, and the team assisted Fran with the necessary repairs to her unit.

Next time you’re at Union Station, glance out to Front Street to see the newly decorated barrier blocks, where safety meets storytelling.
Co-designed by Entro Communication and Two Row Architect with the City, this work called,” A Meeting of Land and Water” features waves, footprints, fish and plants and draws on Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe traditions while celebrating the shoreline as a place of connection.

Yesterday, we kicked-off Pride Month with the raising of the intersex-inclusive Pride flag at Nathan Phillips Square.
The Pride flag will be displayed all month long at City Hall and all Civic Centres as a symbol of our commitment to building a more inclusive, equitable and welcoming Toronto for everyone.
As part of yesterday’s ceremony, Mayor Chow also presented a Key to the City to faith leaders whose work and support for marriage equality have helped to drive forward 2SLGBTQIA+ rights in our city.
