Last night, our community came together for an unforgettable evening celebrating 20 years of Chai Lifeline Canada.

Filled with Heart, Strength, Hope, and an incredible sense of community, the evening celebrated the families, volunteers, donors, and supporters who have shaped Chai Lifeline Canada over the past two decades. Guests were inspired by meaningful conversations with and celebrated the remarkable contributions of honourees Harry Lebovic, Nachum Feldman, and Jamie & Zachary Schwartz, and were deeply moved by the powerful story shared by impact speaker Marky Czutrin, whose strength, humour, and resilience touched everyone in the room.

The evening also marked an exciting moment for the future of Chai Lifeline Canada with the announcement of Paramount Place, our future home and a dedicated space that will help us continue expanding support for children and families facing serious illness for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this milestone celebration so meaningful. Together, we celebrated not only how far we've come, but the future we continue to build for the families who rely on Chai Lifeline Canada every day. 💚

Sweet moments for sweet families 💐🍰

Before Shavuot, we delivered flowers and cheesecakes to Chai families, bringing a little extra warmth, beauty, and Yom Tov joy into their homes.

Sometimes it’s the small gestures that make the biggest difference. 💚

We hope everyone had a beautiful Shavuot!

Chag Sameach from Chai Lifeline Canada 🌼💚

From hospital rooms to hockey games, summer camp, and dreams of becoming a drummer, we’ve had the privilege of watching Marky grow up over the past 9 years. 💚

Chai Lifeline first met Marky in 2017, when he was just three years old and facing a diagnosis no child should ever have to endure. Through years of chemotherapy, relapses, bone marrow transplants, and experimental treatments, Marky faced every challenge with courage, humour, and a contagious smile that never stopped shining through.

Today, he’s more than a survivor. He’s a role model. Thoughtful, resilient, funny, and full of heart.

This year, we are honoured to have Marky as our Impact Speaker at Chai Lifeline Canada’s 20th Anniversary Gala. His story is one you truly have to experience for yourself - a reminder that even in the hardest moments, Heart, Strength & Hope can appear when you least expect it.

Join us on May 27.

When children hear about a community crisis, they don’t just hear the news, they feel the uncertainty too. 💚

As parents, educators, and community members, the way we speak to children during difficult moments matters. Honest conversations, reassurance, routine, and simply making space for their questions can help children feel safer and more supported.

Our Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) is available to support families, schools, and community members navigating these conversations and challenging moments together.

If you or someone you know is in need of immediate support, please contact our CIT Hotline:
