Ahniin, Boozhoo. This NCFST page is being created and managed by the NCFST Resource & Adoption department in efforts of recuitment for First Nations people interested in adopting children from our agency or being Customary Care parents, as well as recruitment of Foster Parents from all backgrounds to foster children.

NCFST will strive to recruit and work with Native families to provide quality care and support for Native children requiring alternative care. This in no way excludes non-Native families with experience, and/or desire and commitment to learning more about Native culture, from being considered as a potential placement resource, for Native children needing substitute care. NCFST will strive to uphold and support the unique traditions, culture and values of all children in our care, and where appropriate to seek out and nurture the child (ren's) connection to his or her community of origin.
