FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE GOODSPEED DRIVEWAY CINEMA!
This year's buzz-worthy and glowingly reviewed thriller/comedy, Bodies Bodies Bodies!
Get the Halloween movie season started off right while the good weather lasts. I fear we won't get many of these in '22. š„¶
Bring a lawn chair! Starts at dark! This movie is MADE for Gen-Z, while poking fun at them too, so a perfect watch for horror-curious youth! Very tame in the horror department, but super fun.
Depends on sufficient interest. If people can't come we'll hope for another time, or maybe show something different.

Clear skies tonight, so at 8pm Iāll be screening āThe Babadookā out on the driveway. Bring a lawn chair and a blanket, and strap in for the most unsettling and poignant horror movie Iāve seen in many, many years.
DM for the address.

NOTICE: Tonight's driveway screening is turning into a double feature. THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT at 6:30pm and IT FOLLOWS at 8pm.
Bring a chair... BE THERE!!!
Tonight, for the second night in a row, Iām screening one of my top-two all-time favourite horror films out on the driveway: 2014ās āIt Followsā.
I love this movie because itās almost as much indie/art-house in style as it is horror, so it feels like a āmovie movieā more than just a genre piece, while also serving as a clever homage to the genre. It has a great premise and some pretty f%cked up moments. (CW: Brief nudity and some disturbing images ā this is horror, after all)
Bring a folding chair and join us! Movie rolls at 8:00pm sharp! Weather looks clear and warm.

Big thanks to Duane (Dwayne?) ā a Port Union resident who made the drive up to Coldwater this past weekendāfor saying hello up at Scream Shack Haunted Attraction. Wish I could have had more time to talk, but I had to try to stay in character for the nearby queue line as much as possible.
It was very touching to see someone from our 'hood drive all that distance for the love of Halloween (and hopefully a very fun experience!). Please say hello again here if you see this.
There's one weekend left up at Scream Shack, and if you plan to make the drive, PLEASE try to be there as close to 7pm as possible as they have to bar the gates after the parking lot is full. (there is NO street parking available, it being a very narrow and dark country road)
And if you do plan to make the trek, say hello to Sticky Jim, the character I play to entertain the lineups. You can follow Jim at the link below, and please message me there on Instagram or on this page if you plan to make the drive, or have any questions.

We will not be doing even the modest Halloween display we've done the last few years this season, in part, because I'm getting my Halloween fix scaring up at Scream Shack Haunted Attraction in Coldwater, Ontario every weekend this October.
It's a bit of a hike for people in our neighbourhood, but if you REALLY love Halloween the way we obviously do, it's totally worth the drive.
Three attractions (two trails and a haunted barn) and lots of screams, I promise!
While you're waiting in line, I'll be there to creep you out, so make sure to say that the Butcher sent you!

The Halloween season is not complete without a fear filled trip Canada's Scariest Haunted Attraction. Located just north of Barrie in Coldwater Ontario The Shack is famous for there three highly detailed outdoor attractions and the horror movie atmosphere.

Hereās a way you can help the story of the Butcher of Provincetown live on, this time in another medium. It does not require any of your money (although feel free to send any extra cash you have if youāre bored), but it does require you to close your eyes.
This is what Iād like you to do. Shut your lids the moment you finish reading this, and search your memory for the single image from the haunted house, the promos, the documentary, the images weāve posted here, that most sticks in your brain.
I donāt want you to look through the pictures on this page, or go through the videos or props; rather think about something visual you remember from the mythology thatās still rattling around in your head (assuming the haunt hasnāt faded from your memory entirely) that you found interesting, frightening, alluring, or just... memorable.
I canāt discuss why Iām looking for this at the moment, but can assure you that any feedback is greatly appreciated.
So, in advance, thanks! Now close those damn eyes!

Port Union, will we see you tonight?
Once again, weāre doing a very small version of the haunt this year. Not a walk-through like in years past. Just a little display to keep the Halloween spirit alive.
Drop by for a look at what weāve done, some candy, and possibly a scream or two.

Tonight, come see The Butcher of Provincetown haunted house. (Ok, so we kind of lied.)
We're just doing a very small display in the garage this year -- nothing like the big walkthrough haunted house from years past. Come have a look, Saturday from 6pm - 9pm, and Monday night for trick or treating. (We may be open Sunday as well, but not sure yet)
We just wanted to keep Halloween alive for the community as best we could, even if it's in a smaller way. Come see us, Port Union!
