September 30th was National Truth and Reconciliation Day. Dorset Park Public School along with all of our schools took part in a big way. We are grateful for being included.

The 94 Calls to Action were delivered by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada, led by Chief Commissioner Murray Sinclair. Sinclair used this metaphor of a mountain to describe Canada's path forward toward healing.
"We have described for you a mountain, we have shown you the path to the top. We call upon you to do the climbing."
There is lots of work to be done and thanks to all the educators for teaching the unvarnished truth about our history that is necessary to move reconciliation forward.

What a great summer of basketball! 🏀☀️
The 4th annual Glamorgan Basketball Program has officially wrapped up and we couldn’t be more proud of all the young athletes who participated. From developing skills and learning the game to building confidence, teamwork and friendships, it was an incredible summer on and off the court.
A huge thank you to our volunteers, families, and of course our players, for making the program such a success.
Keep working hard, keep having fun, and keep loving the game! 🏀

On Wednesday, July 15, 2026 officers joined staff at Tim Hortons restaurant located at 1 William Kitchen Road, Scarborough, (Kennedy Commons) for Camp Day.
Camp Day is one of Tim Hortons most important annual fundraising initiatives in support of Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. Fundraising efforts began on July 1 and culminate on Camp Day, when 100% of proceeds from all hot and iced coffee sales are donated to the Foundation. These funds help youth from disadvantaged circumstances develop leadership skills, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
Last year, Tim Hortons restaurants raised more than $13 million in support of Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, making a meaningful impact on the lives of thousands of young people.
